another Flickr plugin

using wordpress-flickr-manager – seems to be interfering with my other Flickr sets, but otherwise it’s working pretty well. Trick to getting it to work: make sure all the php files are correctly loaded into the plugin folder.

I’m back to using flickr-tag. it seems simpler and easier to use and doesn’t have lightbox clashes (since it uses lightbox separately rather than built-in)

updating plugins

updated some plugins today and noticed the BLC has simple-tags installed so thought I’d try it out over here. Not sure how useful it will be. In other news posted a set of 25 of the best pix from the 600 or so we took at the Bouquets to Art flower show in the de Young museum this weekend on Friday and Saturday nights. See Grand Scheme for more.

bringing it all together

I’m trying a new webhost, and here at HostGator it seems I might get what I need. So far no problems, and easy to set up multiple domains in one hosting account, thought the fact that they’re really sub-domains and therefore also exposed via their full sub-domain name is potentially problematic. Anyhow, for now this page will remain pretty unexciting. This domain is the holding area for the domains that are either parked or active under here. If it works well I’ll bring across the main family history site at wadley.us, but that will take some time.
